Plain-English terms for using Luna.
Luna is a baby-tracking web app for family logs and routine summaries, with an optional connector for AI assistants. These terms are intentionally simple. Last updated 20 September 2026.
Luna is not medical advice, a medical device, an emergency service, or a replacement for a qualified health professional or clinician.
Who can use Luna
Luna is for parents and guardians tracking their own child's care. You must be at least 18 and legally able to act as the child's parent or guardian to create an account. Luna is not directed at children as users; children do not interact with Luna themselves.
Your account and data
You are responsible for the information you enter, for keeping your password and any API tokens confidential, for the caregivers you invite, and for any decisions you make outside Luna. Use Luna as a record-keeping tool, not as the authority for medical or safety decisions.
Family access
Invite links are for trusted caregivers only. People who join your family log may see and add to tracker data for that family. If an invite was shared with the wrong person, revoke it from Settings and contact us if you need help.
The Luna connector (MCP, Muse, Claude)
Luna offers an optional connector so a third-party AI assistant, such as Meta Muse or Claude, or your own MCP-compatible tooling, can read and log data on your behalf using an API token you create and control. By creating a token and connecting an assistant, you authorise it to act within the scopes (read and/or write) you granted. You can revoke a token at any time, which immediately stops that assistant's access. We are not responsible for what a third-party assistant does with data it reads through the connector, or for logging errors it makes when writing on your behalf. Review any AI-suggested log entry before relying on it, and use the app's edit and undo tools to correct mistakes.
Not medical advice
Luna's summaries, Luna Plus answers and proactive nudges are organisational information based on the data you log and, where referenced, public health guidance (NHS, SACN, AAP, CDC or FDA depending on region). They are not a diagnosis and do not replace advice from a qualified health professional or emergency services. If you believe your child needs urgent care, contact emergency services directly rather than relying on the app.
Luna Plus
Where Luna Plus is available, it adds log-based summaries and prompts for a monthly fee, with checkout handled by Stripe. Free tracking remains separate from paid AI summaries and will not be put behind a paywall retroactively without notice. Pricing and checkout details should be confirmed on the upgrade page before purchase.
Acceptable use
Do not use Luna to log data about a child who is not your own without the consent of that child's parent or guardian; do not attempt to access another family's data; do not use the connector or API to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service; do not upload unlawful content; do not resell or white-label Luna without our written agreement; and do not rely on Luna for emergency decisions.
Availability
Luna is provided "as is" as a lightweight web app. It may be updated, interrupted, limited or unavailable at times, and proactive nudges (polled or webhook) are best-effort, not a substitute for your own attention, especially for anything safety-critical. Keep any critical records you need independently backed up.
Termination and deletion
You can stop using Luna and delete your family's account at any time (see the Privacy policy for how). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, breaches security, or is used to access another family's data without authorisation.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luna is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated summaries or a missed or delayed nudge. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change and note material changes on the connector page changelog.
