Comparison

Best baby tracker apps in the UK, compared

Last checked: 23 October 2026. Prices are from the UK App Store and Google Play, and features come from each app's own listing, website or help centre. Every fact about another app links to where we read it. We make Luna, so read this with that in mind: we've tried to be fair, and we say where another app does something better.

There isn't one best baby tracker. The right one depends on what you need at 3am: a free log you can both write to, sleep predictions, an Apple Watch button, or one price that covers everything.

How to choose

  • You want a free log you can both write to: Luna, Huckleberry's free tier, Nighp's Baby Tracker and Hatch Grow all let two phones share one log without paying. Luna gives each person their own login; Huckleberry asks caregivers to sign in to the same account; Nighp's devices join one sync group; Hatch Grow lets you invite a partner or caregiver to your baby's account.
  • You want help with sleep timing: Huckleberry offers the most here. Its paid SweetSpot feature predicts nap times from 2 months, and Premium adds custom sleep plans. Luna shows a nap estimate, next feed and bedtime estimate from the patterns in your own log (using typical ranges for your baby's age until there's enough data), for free, but it doesn't create sleep schedules or sleep plans.
  • You want a native app with Apple Watch and widgets: Huckleberry (with Plus or Premium), Nighp's Baby Tracker, Nara Baby, Baby Connect and Glow Baby all list Apple Watch support. Luna runs in your phone's browser and on your home screen; it has no watch app.
  • You'd rather pay one price for everything: Nara Baby is ad-free with no extra tiers and has a one-off lifetime plan, and Baby Connect's subscription covers every caregiver. Nighp's Baby Tracker also sells a one-off Remove Ads purchase. Luna is free and has no ads, with Plus as the only paid extra.
  • You have twins or more than one child: Huckleberry, Nighp's Baby Tracker, Nara Baby and Baby Connect all support more than one child. Luna tracks one baby per family log today.

The apps one by one

Luna

Luna is a free shared baby tracker for feeds, sleep, nappies, solids and notes. You invite your partner or a carer with a link, and each of you signs in with your own login to the same family log. Logs made with no signal wait on your phone and sync once you're back online. Luna runs in Safari or Chrome and can be added to your home screen; an Android app is coming. Luna Plus is £3.99/month and adds Ask Luna, which answers questions from your own family's log. Luna doesn't give medical advice.

Huckleberry

Huckleberry's free tier covers sleep, nappy changes, feeds, pumping, growth, potty training, activities and medicine, with a breastfeeding timer, multiple children and caregiver sync (UK App Store). Plus adds SweetSpot nap predictions, Schedule Creator, Insights and AI logging; Premium adds the Berry AI chat and custom sleep plans. To share, caregivers sign in to the same account on each phone (Huckleberry pricing FAQ), and logging works offline (Huckleberry help centre). Read the full Luna vs Huckleberry comparison.

Baby Tracker - Newborn Log (Nighp)

A free tracker with feeds, breastfeeding timer, pumping, sleep, nappies, WHO growth charts, medicines, vaccinations, temperature, milestones and PDF export, plus widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch and Siri on iPhone (UK App Store). Core tracking stays free with ads; Plus removes ads and adds on-device timing cues, and one Group Plus subscription covers the whole sync group. Devices share data by joining a sync group with the group's email and password (Nighp FAQ). Read Luna vs Baby Tracker - Newborn Log.

Baby Tracker! (Amila)

A simple free tracker for feeding, sleep, nappies, pumping, measurements and medicine, with statistics, available in 34 languages (UK App Store). It shows ads, and the UK store lists a £3.99 monthly and £24.99 yearly subscription. It's on Android with Wear OS support (Google Play). Its listings don't mention partner sharing.

Baby Connect

A tracker with apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android and a web app in the browser (UK App Store). After a 7-day free trial you need a subscription to save new entries; without one the app is read-only. Each caregiver creates their own account and is linked to the child, with no limit on caregivers (Baby Connect support).

Nara Baby

An ad-free tracker for babies, pregnancy and postpartum health, with breastfeeding and pumping timers, solids, growth, milestones, Live Activities and Apple Watch (UK App Store). It's a paid app: after a 7-day trial you can view and export your data but not add new entries until someone subscribes (Nara FAQ). One payment covers unlimited caregivers, and each can sign in with their own email and password. Read Luna vs Nara Baby.

Glow Baby

A tracker for nappies, feeds, pumping, sleep and milestones, with parenting articles and AI insights (UK App Store). Adding a second caregiver needs a Glow Premium membership (Glow help centre). The Android app shows ads (Google Play).

Hatch Grow

A free tracker for feeds, nappies, sleep, growth and pumping, with no in-app purchases listed on the UK App Store. You can invite a partner or caregiver to share your baby's account, and it pairs with Hatch's optional Grow smart changing pad and scale (UK App Store). It's iPhone-only on iOS, also on Google Play, and there's no desktop app (Hatch help).

Where Luna is weaker

Being honest about it: Luna has no Apple Watch app, widgets or app-store app yet, it has no dedicated pumping, medicine or temperature logs (there's a supplement button and free-text notes), it doesn't create sleep schedules or sleep plans, and it tracks one baby per family log. If any of those matter most to you, one of the apps above may suit you better. Luna's strengths are the free shared log with a login for each person, working in any phone or desktop browser, offline logging and no ads.

How we checked

We read each app's UK App Store and Google Play listing, its official website and its help centre on 23 October 2026. App prices and features change, so check the store before you subscribe. App and feature names belong to their owners; Luna isn't affiliated with any of these apps. If something here is out of date, email [email protected] and we'll fix it.

Want calm answers from your own log?

Free Luna keeps the shared tracker and assistant connector. Luna Plus (£3.99/mo) adds Ask Luna: answers from your family's own log.

Common questions

What is the best free baby tracker app in the UK?

It depends what you need. Luna, Huckleberry's free tier, Nighp's Baby Tracker, Amila's Baby Tracker!, Glow Baby and Hatch Grow all let you log feeds, sleep and nappies without paying. Luna, Huckleberry, Nighp's Baby Tracker and Hatch Grow also let a partner share the log for free; Nighp's Baby Tracker and Amila's Baby Tracker! show ads.

Which baby tracker lets both parents log for free?

Luna (each parent has their own login), Huckleberry (caregivers sign in to the same account), Nighp's Baby Tracker (devices join a sync group) and Hatch Grow (invite a partner or caregiver) all share one log at no cost. Glow Baby needs Premium to add a second caregiver.

Is there a free alternative to Huckleberry?

Huckleberry's own tracker is free; its paid tiers add sleep predictions, plans and the Berry AI chat. If you want a free shared log without sleep guidance, Luna is one option. See Luna vs Huckleberry for the details.

Do I need to pay for Nara Baby or Baby Connect?

After a 7-day trial, yes, to keep adding entries. Both stay readable without a subscription.

Which baby tracker works offline?

Luna keeps logs on your phone and syncs them when you're back online. Huckleberry's help centre says logging works offline too. The other apps' official pages don't say.
